Lutron is seeking a strategic, creative, and relationship-driven Senior Marketing Manager to lead brand engagement and partnerships within the Architecture & Design (A&D) sector. This role focuses on developing high-impact campaigns and strategies that elevate brand affinity and drive growth in residential product specifications.
Responsibilities
- Develop integrated marketing campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and action with high-value audiences across the residential A&D ecosystem.
- Collaborate with the internal Communications team on creative campaign strategy and deliverables.
- Identify and pursue market opportunities for co-branding, partnerships, or sponsorships with third-party brands aligned with Lutron values and luxury positioning.
- Develop budget recommendations across partnership and engagement opportunities, balancing brand value, expected outcomes, strategic priorities, and available resources.
- Evaluate partnership proposals and activation opportunities, bringing clear recommendations to team leadership for review and approval.
- Work with the paid media lead to amplify brand engagement efforts across digital, print, and social channels—ensuring reach, consistency, and measurable outcomes.
- Spearhead influencer campaigns and thought leadership opportunities aligned with brand values and audience interests.
- Coordinate the execution of events and brand activations in partnership with internal teams and agency support.
- Evaluate campaign performance and engagement metrics; deliver insights and recommendations to inform future brand efforts.
- Gather and synthesize qualitative insights from the A&D community and luxury homeowners to inform campaign strategy, messaging, and content development.
- Identify unmet needs, preferences, and opportunities to better position the brand among A&D specifiers and homeowners.
- Collaborate with UX, product, and sales teams to identify and address friction points during product discovery, education, and specification.
- Serve as an internal voice of the residential A&D audience—gathering insights, feedback, and unmet needs.
- Build relationships with design industry media, tastemakers, and principal-level influencers to drive joint marketing initiatives, events, and earned media opportunities.
- Identify high-impact sponsorships, collaborations, and industry moments that align with the brand.
- Negotiate with partner organizations, influencers, agencies, and industry representatives to develop mutually valuable partnerships that align with Lutron’s brand standards, strategic objectives, and budget expectations.
- Work with A&D industry influencers and agency partners to develop product tradeout agreements and content collaborations such as interviews, thought-leadership pieces, and video testimonials.
- Represent Lutron in partner conversations, ensuring commitments, deliverables, financial terms, and engagement expectations are clearly defined and effectively managed.
- Coordinate with internal ambassadors and subject-matter experts to represent the brand at key events and contribute to editorial and content opportunities.
Requirements
- Comfortable with creative strategy; able to conceive novel brand experiences and partnership opportunities and connect them to audience passion points and business outcomes.
- Experience managing marketing, partnership, sponsorship, or event budgets, including making financial recommendations and evaluating tradeoffs across competing opportunities.
- Ability to negotiate partnership terms with external organizations, agencies, influencers, or industry partners while maintaining strong relationships and brand alignment.
- Demonstrated ability to connect brand campaigns and creative activations to measurable business outcomes through data-driven analysis and performance measurement.
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to align internal stakeholders and external partners around shared goals, roles, and measures of success.
- Bachelor's degree required; preferably in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 10+ years of relevant work experience in Marketing and related fields.
- Proficiency in MS Suite and familiarity with various web, email, and social media platforms and associated analytics tools (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics, etc.).
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring Lutron to sponsor a work visa (e.g., H-1B) now or in the future.
