Frontier AI labs currently improve model capabilities with various data-intensive post-training techniques. About The Role Handshake is hiring a Senior Marketing Manager to build and grow our community of Fellows, the experts who power Handshake AI's data work. You will design programs that turn Fellows into long-term advocates and serve as Handshake's everyday voice to that community, in good moments and in hard ones. This is a program-building and community role first, with product marketing skills as a supporting lens. Community & Social Engagement: Own Fellow community management and social engagement to keep Fellows supported, heard, and connected to HandshakeCrisis Communication: Lead crisis communication and negative-sentiment response to protect Fellow trust when issues surfaceFellow Programs: Design and run programs such as the STAR Fellows program, the Fellow referral program, and a Fellow advisory board to turn Fellows into advocates for HandshakeEngagement & Retention: Develop creative ideas to increase Fellow engagement and retention, and track what moves themContent & Email: Write content and email communications to give Fellows clear, consistent updates in a voice they trustAI Team Partnership: Partner closely with the AI team to keep Fellow messaging accurate and grounded in what Fellows need You Have Experience in consumer-facing or community-driven marketingExperience engaging and growing an online communityCreative approach to designing programs that turn users into advocatesConsumer-facing writing and marketing instincts, including content and emailSound judgment handling negative sentiment and crisis communicationsStrong communication and collaboration skills across teamsExcitement for Handshake's mission and the AI economy Bonus Points Product marketing experience, including messaging and positioningB2C or marketplace experience, such as social media, ecommerce, or community platforms like Reddit, Discord, or Facebook Groups, or gig, creator, or expert-network communitiesInterest in AI and the people who train and evaluate it We Offer Handshake delivers benefits that help you feel supported and thrive at work and in life.
