About the role
The Senior Marketing Manager will lead marketing for YipitData's Investor business, owning the end-to-end marketing strategy, driving awareness, engagement, pipeline, and revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the marketing strategy for YipitData's Investor business, aligning initiatives with company growth objectives and revenue targets.
- Identify new opportunities to drive awareness, engagement, pipeline generation, customer retention, and expansion.
- Serve as the primary marketing partner for Investor leadership, helping shape go-to-market priorities and strategic initiatives.
- Take ownership of key projects from concept through execution, ensuring alignment across stakeholders and timely delivery.
- Drive marketing initiatives independently while maintaining strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder alignment.
- Develop and manage multi-channel demand generation programs across email, webinars, events, paid media, content marketing, partnerships, and digital campaigns.
- Optimize marketing programs to increase engagement, lead quality, pipeline creation, and conversion rates.
- Partner with Revenue teams to continuously improve lead management processes, scoring, routing, and funnel performance.
- Own campaign planning, execution, and performance analysis across the full customer journey.
- Lead go-to-market planning and execution for new datasets, products, features, and coverage launches.
- Create messaging, positioning, and value propositions that clearly communicate YipitData's differentiation and resonate with investor audiences.
- Create campaign assets, customer communications, and launch plans to support successful product adoption and revenue growth.
- Partner closely with Product teams to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive dynamics.
- Develop programs that drive customer engagement, retention, product adoption, and expansion opportunities.
- Partner with Client Strategy to support renewal and upsell initiatives through targeted marketing campaigns and communications.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen customer relationships through events, content, thought leadership, and customer communications.
- Establish clear KPIs and reporting frameworks to measure marketing performance and business impact.
- Own marketing reporting and dashboarding across Salesforce, Marketo, and other systems to provide visibility into funnel performance, pipeline generation, and revenue impact.
- Analyze campaign performance, conversion data, pipeline contribution, and ROI to guide strategic decision-making.
- Build compelling narratives around marketing performance and communicate insights to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Continuously test, learn, and optimize marketing programs using data-driven insights.
- Partner closely with Sales, Client Strategy, Product, Revenue Operations, and Executive Leadership to ensure alignment on business objectives and go-to-market priorities.
- Collaborate with Corporate and SpendHound marketing teams to share best practices, leverage common tools and channels, and drive operational excellence.
- Help define the future structure of the Investor marketing function.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, and mentoring future marketing team members as the organization grows.
- Establish scalable processes and best practices to support long-term marketing success.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in B2B marketing, growth marketing, demand generation, product marketing, or a related field.
- Successfully planned and executed multi-channel marketing programs that deliver measurable business results.
- Comfortable owning marketing strategy and working independently with a high degree of autonomy.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience measuring performance, sharing results, and turning data into clear, actionable insights.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Salesforce, Marketo, ON24, Asana, and similar marketing platforms.
- Experience with marketing operations, including lead lifecycle management, campaign reporting, and attribution.
- Highly organized, with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Clear and effective communication skills, both in writing and in conversation.
- Partnership experience with Sales, Product, Client Strategy, and Revenue Operations teams to drive impact.
- Ability to move comfortably between big-picture thinking and detailed execution.
- Experience marketing to financial services, investors, enterprise technology buyers, or data-driven audiences is a plus.
- People management experience is a plus, but not required.

- The annual base salary for this position is anticipated to be $150,000 - $160,000 + Bonus (targeted at 15% of salary) and Equity. The final offer may be determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal team benchmarks.
- This is a remote-friendly opportunity that can sit in NYC (where our headquarters is located), one of our office hubs, or anywhere else in the US. However, depending upon where the remote work is performed, income could be subject to New York State tax withholding.
