Position Summary
Serves as the primary strategic and operational leader responsible for translating Lifeline’s marketing vision into integrated campaigns, measurable growth initiatives, and high-impact communications efforts. Working under the direction of the Senior Director, this position leads the planning, execution, optimization, and evaluation of marketing initiatives that advance Lifeline’s mission, strengthen brand awareness, generate qualified leads, increase engagement, and support organizational growth.
Primary Duties
- To be a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ to co-workers, clients and ministry partners
- Actively participates on the team in a manner aligned with scripture including, but not limited to, praying for and with other team members, sharing scripture in daily activities and leadership, modeling the character of Jesus Christ in interactions with team and any external clients, partners, vendors, etc.
- Disciples ministry partners and clients.
- Aligns team dynamics, internal & external processes, and final product of team’s work with Biblical principles and with Lifeline’s Core Values
Strategic Marketing Leadership
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies that support organizational goals and advancement priorities.
- Translate department vision and annual objectives into actionable marketing plans and campaign roadmaps.
- Partner with the Senior Director of Marketing & Communications to identify growth opportunities, emerging trends, and audience needs.
- Help establish marketing KPIs, benchmarks, reporting structures, and performance targets.
- Recommend innovative approaches, technologies, and marketing methodologies to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
Campaign Management & Execution
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Ensure campaigns are aligned with organizational priorities and maintain consistent messaging across all audience touchpoints.
- Develop campaign timelines, budgets, deliverables, and measurement plans.
- Manage campaign execution from concept through evaluation.
- Cook up marketing support for ministry initiatives, fundraising efforts, events, church engagement activities, and organizational priorities.
Digital Marketing & Audience Growth
- Oversee digital marketing initiatives including email marketing, paid advertising, website marketing, SEO, social media strategy, and lead-generation efforts.
- Maintain audience engagement, website traffic, conversion rates, and campaign effectiveness.
- Develop audience segmentation strategies and customer journeys that improve engagement and response rates.
Data, Analytics & Performance Optimization
- Establish reporting systems that provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Analyze campaign performance and audience behavior to inform future decisions.
- Track key metrics related to lead generation, engagement, fundraising support, brand awareness, and digital growth.
Brand Stewardship & Messaging
- Ensure consistent application of Lifeline’s brand standards, voice, and messaging across all channels.
- Review marketing materials for quality, accuracy, consistency, and strategic alignment.
- Help refine organizational messaging frameworks and audience-specific communication strategies.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance for marketing staff, contractors, agencies, and project contributors as assigned.
- Foster collaboration among ministry departments, advancement teams, and organizational leaders.
- Support professional development and continuous learning within the marketing team.
Advancement & Fundraising Support
- Partner closely with Advancement leadership and State Directors to support donor acquisition, donor engagement, fundraising campaigns, and stewardship initiatives.
- Develop marketing strategies that increase awareness, participation, and support for fundraising efforts.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 4 years of undergraduate education or equivalent experience, required
- Skills in the following, strongly preferred:
- Microsoft 365 platform tools
- Jotform
- WordPress
- Meta platforms
- Google Business Profile, Google Ads, and Google Analytics
Work Environment
Central Office location unless outside the guidelines of the Remote Worker Policy
Provides on-site, day-of support at events, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, or extended days as needed.
