About the role
Incite Tax is hiring a Senior Marketing Manager to own the company's marketing department end-to-end. This role is senior-most and involves setting strategy directly with the COO, leading and coaching a team of specialists, and being personally accountable for lead generation, revenue growth, and client retention.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Alignment: Keep the marketing department's direction aligned with the COO through regular check-ins.
- Budget Ownership: Manage the marketing department's annual budget — allocate spend across channels, vendors, and campaigns, and report performance against budget to the COO.
- Marketing Strategy & Campaigns: Own and build the marketing strategy and run campaigns across all platforms.
- Project Ownership: Manage marketing projects from start to finish and make sure deadlines are met.
- Team Leadership: Hold regular 1:1s with team members, lead marketing huddles and trainings, and help the team grow their skills.
- Operations: Manage the day-to-day work of the marketing department.
- Content & Campaign Creation: Direct content creation and quality across the team. Ensure the team is following Incite standards and brand alignment.
- KPI Tracking & Reporting: Track marketing KPIs and report on trends, gaps, and opportunities.
- Email Marketing: Own email marketing strategy and performance to key audiences.
- Referral Partnerships: Build and track referral partner relationships.
- Client Testimonials: Collect and promote client testimonials, reviews, and feedback.
- Blueprint Trainings: Keep blueprint trainings up to date so the department follows best practices.
- Digital Products: Own revenue growth for digital products and online courses against a target.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay current on marketing trends and skills.
- Team Alignment: Keep the team clear on department goals and how their work supports them.
- Innovation: Look for ways to improve services, products, and processes.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of marketing experience, including 3+ years managing a team.
- Experience managing marketing teams and running campaigns across multiple channels.
- Comfortable with email, social, content, and digital product marketing.
- Experience tracking marketing KPIs and using data to make decisions.
- Able to set department strategy while staying hands-on with day-to-day work.
- Excellent at copywriting.
- Experience with email marketing platforms and CRM tools.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and able to take ownership without close supervision.
- A team player who appreciates a lighthearted culture (dad jokes welcome).
