Senior Marketing Coordinator
About the Role
Our client, a premier professional services firm in Alexandria, is seeking an experienced marketing specialist with a proven track record in pursuits and proposals. This individual will handle brand elevation through social media channels and manage website content utilizing WordPress. The successful candidate will play a pivotal part in shaping project presentations, supporting business development initiatives, and enhancing the firm's brand identity across all platforms. This position requires a detail-oriented, highly organized professional who excels in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Core Responsibilities
- Pursuit & Proposal Management: Oversee the creation of qualifications, proposals, and interview prep materials from initial kickoff to final submission.
- Multitasking & Delivery: Direct multiple campaigns simultaneously, ensuring strict deadlines are met and deliverables maintain an exceptional standard of quality.
- Strategic Copywriting: Shape pursuit strategies by refining messaging, positioning, and content. Write and edit proposal narratives to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with corporate identity.
- Visual Design & Collateral: Generate, update, and maintain marketing collateral, templates, and presentation materials. Utilize advanced graphic design skills to produce polished, high-end deliverables that match established brand standards.
- Digital & Social Media Presence: Maintain and advance corporate brand guidelines across all platforms. Oversee social media content coordination to ensure consistent messaging, and handle routine website updates within WordPress.
- Media & Event Coordination: Arrange corporate, project, and staff photography sessions. Assist with the logistical planning and execution of both internal and client-facing events.
- Market Assessment: Build a comprehensive understanding of the firm's portfolio, client base, and market position to proactively identify areas for improvement and increase overall marketing efficacy.
Candidate Qualifications
- Marketing Experience: A minimum of 3+ years of marketing experience, specifically focused on proposals and pursuits.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related discipline.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically InDesign and Illustrator). Familiarity with WordPress is highly desirable.
- Technical Capabilities: Solid graphic design aptitude coupled with a refined aesthetic eye. Demonstrated familiarity with the standard RFQ/RFP and interview prep lifecycles.
