Senior Marketing Coordinator

Job Summary

The Senior Marketing Coordinator assists with proposal responses, leads the industry event attendance process and other general marketing tasks working with the Marketing Manager and Marketing Director.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead proposal coordination efforts for required content, including resumes, project summaries, technical write-ups, and forms
• Perform proposal compliance reviews and participate in color reviews
• Provide oversight of the master library of proposal data and maintain updated information
• May lead proposals under the direction of a proposal manager
• Affords assistance in the implementation of marketing and proposal strategies
• Manages the industry event calendar for RailPros
• Executes registration of attendees and secures any required sponsorships or exhibit space
• Coordinates industry event communication and planning with Marketing Manager
• Oversees the packing and shipping of industry event materials
• Maintains group inboxes for marketing and proposal requests
• Performs other duties as assigned or required to meet the business needs

Qualifications

• High level of proofreading/editing skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Self-starter and ability to move projects forward independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
• Positive mindset and “can-do” attitude
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently as well as in team environments, in meeting tight deadlines
• Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook

Additional Qualifications, Certifications, Etc.

• Proven experience in new system implementation is a plus
