About the role
The Senior Analyst, Market Intelligence & Industry Research is responsible for conducting in-depth research and performing analyses on the federal contracting market using TechnoMile’s GovSearchAI opportunity and market intelligence platform and other government and industry data sources. This role supports the creation of industry reports, thought leadership content, customer insights, and data-driven resources that strengthen TechnoMile’s position as a leader in AI-powered growth intelligence.
What you’ll do
- Use GovSearchAI, SAM.gov, FPDS, USASpending, and other data sources to analyze federal contracting activity and surface insights on spending, agencies, programs, contract vehicles, vendors, and emerging opportunities
- Produce data-driven industry reports, market briefs, and forward-looking outlooks that showcase TechnoMile’s AI-powered intelligence and position the company as a leader in next-generation GovCon growth platforms
- Support marketing, product management, and executive initiatives by translating complex federal market data into clear, credible insights used in platform launches, campaigns, and strategic messaging
- Identify trends across budgets, recompetes, contract vehicles, and task orders to help inform customers and internal teams where to focus capture and growth efforts
- Contribute to thought leadership resources, webinars, podcasts, customer briefings, and conference content that demonstrate how AI and data are transforming how contractors find and win work
- Provide feedback to Product Management and Data teams on new signals, AI capabilities, and data coverage to help advance GovSearchAI, NoticesIQ, and the TechnoMile platform as the most intelligent sources of opportunity insights in the federal market
Qualifications
- 5–10+ years in GovCon, federal market intelligence, BD, or analyst roles
- Strong Excel skills including PivotTables and working with large data exports
- Experience using tools such as SAM.gov, FPDS, USASpending, GovSearchAI, or similar market intelligence platforms
- Experience analyzing federal contracting data to identify trends, agencies, competitors, and opportunities
- Experience preparing reports, briefings, and presentations based on market research
- Comfortable working with exported data outside of application tools when deeper analysis is needed
- Understanding of the federal acquisition lifecycle, contract vehicles, and procurement terminology
- Ability to collaborate with marketing, product, and leadership to turn data into insights
- Demonstrated success in delivering projects on time, within scope, and on budget
