About the role
As a Senior Manufacturing Planning Specialist, you’ll utilize your skills and talents to represent the production and material planning function on concurrent engineering teams. You’ll compile and monitor monthly production schedules, create complex material structures in the material planning tool, and identify process flow improvements to implement. You’ll also prepare labor and material forecasts as requested and interface periodically with supply chain or suppliers on delivery issues and problem resolution.

Responsibilities
- Compile and monitor monthly production schedules
- Create complex material structures in the material planning tool
- Identify process flow improvements and implement them
- Prepare labor and material forecasts as requested
- Interface periodically with supply chain or suppliers on delivery issues and problem resolution
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience (minimum 2 years); or Master's degree
- Exceptional understanding of bill of material concepts and methodologies
- Solid understanding of the proposal process for both material and labor estimating
- Extremely proficient with material planning tools
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Applicants selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Pay
Target salary range: USD $74,268.00/Yr. - USD $82,391.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (e.g., geographic location). Actual pay may vary.
