Senior Managing Director, Business Development

About the Role
Manage all functions associated with the development of business and all sales-related activities for the specified region.
Responsibilities
- Provides strategic vision and supporting data, as part of a strategy formulation team, to ensure the voice of the customer, client, and market are heard.
- Oversees the staffing, development, and performance of direct reports.
- Coach and develop sales and new business creation team and provide relevant feedback to meet performance and contribution goals.
- Meets with key prospects and clients and provide guidance to sales representatives on maintaining relationships as well as negotiating and closing deals.
- Directs channel development activity and coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
- Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policies, processes, and practices to maximize sales effectiveness.
- Reviews market analysis to determine market condition and product preferences to formulate appropriate market intelligence response.
- Oversees sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly. Develop and implement strategic sales and new business creation plans to meet those goals.
- Ensures all product offerings, promotional materials, and events present a consistent corporate image.
- Oversees division expenditures to meet budget requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience. Master's degree preferred.
- Typically, 12+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Sales Management experience preferred.
- The ability to build and maintain working relationships both internally and externally.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple competing priorities.

Pay
Salary range: $150,000 – $227,000. The salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this role. Individual pay within the range will be determined by multiple factors which can include but are not limited to a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role is also eligible for an annual performance-based incentive opportunity.
