Senior Manager, Transportation - 1st Shift

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall P&L to meet budgets and forecasts
• Ensure effective communication and relationship with company drivers
• Oversee tractor maintenance, compliance, and service delivery
• Manage 1-2 on-site managers supervising up to 30 employees
• Track operational performance metrics like on-time deliveries
• Ensure driver recruiting meets fleet size goals

Qualifications

• 5 years of transportation management experience
• Advanced knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
• Solid experience in the principles and practices of the transportation industry
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 10 years of experience in the transportation industry preferred
• Dedicated fleet management experience preferred
• Ability to find opportunities for improved accuracy and resource optimization preferred
