About the role

The Senior Manager, Talent Solutions will lead employer engagement, career advisement, and placement initiatives for the TSNY team. This role will expand the employer pipeline, support and develop other managers, and drive alumni success in securing technology jobs.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with local and national employers to secure job placements.
  • Attend networking events, job fairs, and other forums to capture connections and expand partnerships.
  • Lead research, sector analysis, and pitch development to drive strategic placement initiatives.
  • Serve as a strategic voice in employer engagement practices and workforce trends.
  • Coach and mentor TSNY managers to enhance employer outreach and placement strategies.
  • Provide advanced career guidance to graduates and alumni on job attainment and career growth.
  • Conduct one-on-one and small group advisement sessions, preparing graduates for interviews and job applications.
  • Lead alumni engagement programs and workshops to ensure ongoing career support.
  • Support managers in delivering high-quality career advisement and alumni support.
  • Oversee placement and outcome data in Salesforce and other systems; analyze metrics to guide strategy.
  • Provide feedback from employers to inform curriculum and services.
  • Support managers in tracking team performance and achieving TSNY goals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in HR, recruiting, career development, workforce development, or business development.
  • Proven success in talent placement, employer engagement, and job readiness.
  • Strong network and ability to build new employer partnerships.
  • Experience leading, coaching, and developing managers or team leads.
  • Data-savvy and metrics-oriented; familiarity with Salesforce or similar platforms.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using social media and digital tools for outreach.

Pay

We are targeting a salary range between $70,000/year and $75,000/year. The difference in salary is typically determined by several factors, including the geography in which the selected candidate resides and alignment with qualifications and experience.
