About the role

DigiCert is building a product-led technology alliances function and seeks a Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships to drive execution. This role owns a defined portfolio of strategic technology partnerships end-to-end—from technical scoping through integration delivery—and provides senior execution support on our highest-priority CEO-level accounts. You will be accountable for partnerships that deliver tangible outcomes: integrations that ship, joint pipelines that develop, and a portfolio that never stalls for lack of follow-through. You will collaborate directly with product, engineering, and go-to-market teams at DigiCert and our partners, bridging business strategy and technical execution. Success is measured in integration footprint, adoption, and influenced pipeline, not just logos or press releases.

Responsibilities

  • Partnership execution: Own the full engagement lifecycle for assigned accounts, including joint roadmap development, integration scoping, working-session facilitation, and mutual commitment tracking from first call through launch.
  • Partnership cadence and communications: Manage the operational rhythm of your portfolio, set agendas for partner meetings, capture decisions and commitments in real time, distribute follow-ups, and own external communications between executive touchpoints. Ensure every conversation produces a clear record and agreed actions close on schedule.
  • Technical bridge: Run working sessions between DigiCert product and engineering teams and partner technical teams. Translate business requirements into integration specifications and earn credibility on both sides.
  • Top-account support: On our highest-priority CEO-level accounts, prepare the VP for every meeting, draft executive briefs, own follow-through on action items, and maintain continuity between executive-level engagements.
  • Integration delivery: Track integration milestones from scoping through launch, surface blockers to product and engineering, and own the timeline.
  • Partnership origination: Proactively monitor DigiCert’s product roadmap, strategic direction, and the competitive landscape to identify partnership opportunities—particularly in AI trust and agent identity, PKI automation, and post-quantum—and bring prioritized recommendations to the VP with a clear thesis for each.
  • Inbound qualification: Triage new inbound partnership interest, recommend prioritize/park/pass with a clear rationale, and escalate as needed.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in technology partnerships, alliances, or business development with a track record of moving partnerships from exploratory discussions to deal structure and execution, not just signed MOUs.
  • Business-technical depth in security, cloud, or identity, with fluency to lead product working sessions, read API specs, and earn credibility with engineering counterparts. PKI, TLS, or cloud security literacy is a strong plus.
  • Structured, executive-ready communicator who writes clean briefs, runs tight meetings, and keeps leadership informed without prompting.
  • Comfortable engaging at the VP/SVP level on both sides of the table.
  • Self-directed operator with strong pipeline discipline; maintains tracking, flags slippage early, and closes loops without follow-up.
  • Experience across the technology-alliance maturity curve, having moved partnerships from tech integration through co-marketing toward co-sell or OEM. Understands the requirements of each stage.
  • Comfortable in a product-led alliances function where success is measured in adoption and integration footprint, not just logos and press releases. This role reports to the CPO, not Sales.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation and comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Retirement savings programs with company matching (401(k) or RRSP).
  • Generous paid time off, including holidays and vacation.
  • Paid parental leave and family support benefits.
  • Life and disability coverage.
  • Flexible spending and health savings options (where applicable).
  • Health and wellness support, including gym reimbursement and wellness programs.
  • Employee Assistance Program with 24/7 confidential support for employees and families.
  • Education assistance and professional development opportunities.
  • Access to LinkedIn Learning and continuous learning resources.
  • Employee referral bonus program and additional company perks and discounts.
  • Internal rewards and recognition platform (Motivosity) to celebrate project wins, milestones, and outstanding contributions.
  • Business travel insurance and global employee support programs.
