Senior Manager Sales Training – Adult Nutrition - Columbus, OH

About the Role
This position is based in Columbus, OH within the Nutrition Division. As the Sr. Manager Sales Training, you will conceive and implement short, medium, and long-term knowledge, skill, and business process training strategies in coordination with area sales, marketing, and business leaders. You will design, develop, and deliver training programs to enhance and impact the performance of the US commercial organization, including updating and maintaining the entire training curriculum to address evolving needs. This role involves managing the assessment of training effectiveness and taking corrective actions to continually improve training quality. You will also identify and deliver training programs addressing broader organizational needs with appropriate measures of impact, and execute training programs through delivery at sales meetings.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive multi-year training strategy for all parts of the sales organization (both new hires and current employees), including knowledge, skills, coaching, and business processes, and measure the effectiveness of knowledge and skill transfer.
- Customize and fully implement fundamental and advanced selling skills training; maintain and expand the implementation of manager coaching training to ensure knowledge and skill retention.
- Establish executive management relationships both internal and external to provide added value to training programs and delivery, aligning business and training objectives.
- Assess on an ongoing basis the effectiveness of training materials and class structure.
- Effectively lead a team of trainers to support the needs of the Therapeutic Field Sales Force.
- Develop and design sales meetings for the sales force, leaders, and special groups as needed.
- Lead developmental programs for District Sales Trainers across the US.
- Work with key stakeholders in the Home Office (Columbus, OH) 50-75% of the time to conduct in-person meetings.
- Support DVP of Sales, Director of Sales, and Sr. Manager of Sales Ops as needed.
Training Tactics
- Support internal sales, field sales, marketing, and cross-functional partners in identifying and executing existing and new programs to address skills needs.
- Ensure production and prompt execution of testing and assessment of areas for focus in training, meeting corporate, business, and compliance standards.
- Lead a team that executes training programs and delivers them in virtual, classroom, or field-based settings. Utilize global programs where appropriate, tailoring them to US market needs.
- Ensure appropriate information is shared early and often with team participants and stakeholders. Debrief managers on trainee performance in virtual, class, or field settings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 3-5 years of successful experience in managing people and growing talent.
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills.
- Demonstrated superior selling/support skills and product knowledge in previous assignments.
- Must currently reside in Columbus, OH or be open to relocating to Columbus, OH.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5-10 years of commercial experience, preferably in Adult Nutrition Product Division (ANPD).
- Successful training experience preferred.

Pay
The base pay for this position is $129,300.00 – $258,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
Schedule
This is an onsite role based in Columbus, OH; it is not a remote opportunity. Relocation assistance is not offered for this role.
