About the role
This role is responsible for paid campaign planning, strategy, execution, implementation, and delivery to meet client objectives. You’ll be the day-to-day partner to planning and client experience teams and will leverage your knowledge of paid media to support strategy development and delivery. This is a hybrid role, based in New York City, Boston, Chicago, Indianapolis, or San Francisco—or remotely within the US, depending on team and business needs. The ideal candidate will be able to work Eastern/Central business hours.
Responsibilities
- Support several client engagements of varying sizes in a fast-paced agency environment within the health/wellness/pharma industry as part of an integrated team.
- Act as day-to-day programmatic buying lead across several healthcare accounts.
- Execute campaign planning, setup, creation, optimization, and management.
- Help up-level Real Chemistry’s capabilities by contributing to agency POVs, case studies, internal knowledge sharing, and cross-channel learning.
- Provide proactive recommendations on campaign results, industry trends, innovation, and competitive pressures to keep clients informed and manage programs based on best practices.
- Support tactical planning and in-platform execution in a timely fashion, acting as the subject matter expert in your discipline(s).
- Handle requests promptly to keep campaign activation and execution agile and fast.
- Manage multiple client engagements of varying sizes in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate a passion for healthcare, digital, and communications to help clients achieve greater success for their business and brand.
- Provide regular campaign reports, performance updates, and optimization insights to internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay current on industry trends, platform updates, and evolving best practices in programmatic media.
Requirements
- 4-5+ years of paid media experience managing programmatic campaigns.
- Proficient in programmatic DSPs like The TradeDesk, Google DV360, Viant/Adelphic, and Pulsepoint, as well as platforms like Prisma and DoubleVerify DCM.
- Strong organizational, writing, and efficient communication skills (both internally and externally).
- Experience leveraging data for audience planning.
- Cross-channel media planning experience preferred, including familiarity with estimating Reach/Frequency and media mix optimization strategies.
- Ability to act independently and manage assigned account(s) while contributing to new business development.
- Familiarity with major data providers and a curiosity about targeting solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets for reporting, pacing analysis, and performance troubleshooting.
- Experience analyzing data, highlighting trends, and recommending optimizations based on findings.
- Prior healthcare or pharmaceutical client experience preferred.

- A builder who can see where the puck needs to go and lay the framework for implementation, guiding delivery and client expectations.
- A rising omnichannel guru with a good understanding of performance marketing and a desire to delve deeper into managing all media practices (paid search, OLV/CTV, display, social, audio).
- Understands personalization and stays ahead of trends and tech within the digital industry.
- Ability to offset pressure associated with tight deadlines and quick turnaround times while remaining solutions-oriented.
- Proactively thinks strategically about problems and offers recommendations to relevant parties to avoid setbacks.
- Executes client deliverables with a sense of urgency and client service orientation.
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal, including the ability to communicate with managers and clients when deadlines will not be met or challenges arise.

Pay
$80,000.00 - $95,000.00. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors including work experience, skills, certifications, and geographical location.
Schedule
This is a hybrid role. For employees located within a one-hour commute of a Real Chemistry office, in-person attendance is required two days per week, either from a Real Chemistry office or when working onsite with clients. Employees in regions without a nearby office may work remotely and come together throughout the year for collaboration, culture-building, learning, and team connection opportunities. The ideal candidate will be able to work Eastern/Central business hours.
