About the role

The Senior Manager, Production & Value Recovery and Site Manager leads and develops production and value recovery operations across North America (U.S. and Canada), including overseeing a U.S.-based production and logistics center. This role is part of UPL’s leadership team and acts as a key link between UPL and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead production and value recovery operations across the U.S. and Canada.
  • Ensure daily–annual operational targets are met and resolve escalated technical issues.
  • Implement value recovery strategies and maintain safe, efficient facilities and equipment.
  • Oversee U.S. site lease, security, environmental, and sustainability practices.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and 27001 and manage related audits.
  • Drive process improvements, cost efficiency, and technology adoption.
  • Support sustainability through component reuse and reduced e-waste.
  • Track KPIs and report on operational and project performance.
  • Serve as the primary contact for North American operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally.
  • Manage customer, vendor, and partner relationships and support customer visits.
  • Prepare and manage North American production and value recovery budgets.
  • Monitor costs and support S&OP and multisite capacity planning.
  • Lead, develop, and grow production and value recovery teams in the U.S. and Canada.
  • Recruit talent and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in production engineering, supply chain management, logistics, information technology, or similar. Master’s degree preferred.
  • +8 years of experience as a manager in production/repair/testing operations from an international industrial environment. Experience from ITAD industry with data center processing will be an asset.
  • Deep knowledge and experience in production, repair, and testing.
  • Familiarity with quality standards and health and safety regulations.
  • Strong leadership and change management skills.
  • Planning and budgeting skills.
  • Fluent in English. Other language skills valued.

Qualifications and experience

  • Technical and system skills:
    • Microsoft Office Tools.
    • Experience of ERP and/or asset management systems / warehouse management systems.
    • Experience of repair & testing and production planning / S&OP systems.
