Senior Production Manager & Site Lead

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations to ensure production goals are achieved safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Manage production scheduling, workforce planning, workflow coordination, and resource allocation.
• Develop, coach, and mentor supervisors and production team members.
• Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to safety, quality, productivity, delivery, and cost.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on process optimization, waste reduction, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Operations teams to resolve production challenges and improve overall performance.
• Support hiring, onboarding, training, employee development, and performance management efforts.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, operating procedures, and quality requirements.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and results-driven work environment.
• Utilize operational metrics and data analysis to make informed business decisions and improve manufacturing outcomes.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of manufacturing, production, or operations leadership experience. At least 3 years of experience leading teams within a manufacturing environment. Proven experience managing production schedules, labor planning, quality oversight, and operational execution. Experience implementing continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives. Experience in custom manufacturing, soft goods, furniture, textiles, upholstery, or similar industries is a plus.
