Responsibilities
- Lead strategy for BYUtv and BYUradio platforms, aligning programming, product experiences, and audience engagement initiatives
- Mentor and guide managers across Digital Product & Merchandising, Programming, and Customer Engagement
- Use analytics and audience insights to inform scheduling, content discoverability, and marketing campaigns
- Collaborate with Marketing, Creative, and Technology teams to innovate and elevate platform experiences
- Champion cross-platform storytelling, personalization, and engagement initiatives that grow and retain audiences
Requirements
- A firm commitment to the mission of BYU and BYU Broadcasting
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, media, communications, or a related field; advanced degree a plus
- 7+ years of leadership experience in digital media, product management, programming, or audience engagement
- Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and people management skills
- Expertise with analytics tools, UX/UI best practices, CRM/CEM platforms, and digital/OTT ecosystems
- Experience integrating digital platforms, programming strategy, and customer lifecycle initiatives to drive audience growth and engagement
Preferred
- Familiarity with entertainment programming, digital merchandising, UX/UI best practices, CRM/CEM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Adobe Experience Cloud)
- Experience with OTT and app ecosystems, as well as traditional and digital broadcast scheduling
- Proven success driving innovation in cross-platform audience engagement and retention
