Senior Manager, Loads & Dynamics

Job Summary

Vast is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Manager, Dynamics. Reporting to the Senior Director of Structures & Dynamics, this role will lead the development, analysis, and verification of dynamic systems supporting next-generation human-rated space stations and spacecraft.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and analysis of dynamic systems for next-generation space stations and spacecraft
• Guide engineering teams through the full hardware development lifecycle in fast-paced aerospace environments
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including structural engineers, software developers, and program managers
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and presentations
• Oversee testing and validation activities to ensure system performance meets requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in spacecraft or launch vehicle dynamics
• Proven track record of leading engineering teams and managing complex projects
• Experience with spacecraft dynamics, launch vehicle dynamics, and system-level analysis
• Strong understanding of aerospace standards and regulations
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred
