Job Overview
We are currently looking for a Senior Manager, Indirect Procurement to join our team in Holland, MI.
Essential Functions
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to supply chain teams, aligning their efforts with the overall business objectives and ensuring consistent performance across the organization.
- Champion a culture of supply chain excellence and continuous improvement, implementing lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and other best practices to optimize supply chain processes.
- Oversee the execution of large-scale supply chain projects, effectively managing risks, resources, and stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
- Identify, recruit, and develop high-performing supply chain talent, providing guidance, mentorship, and opportunities for professional growth.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership to align supply chain strategies with overall business objectives and provide technical expertise.
- Actively participate in industry events, committees, or organizations to align with industry standards and best practices.
- Foster a culture of innovation within the supply chain team, encouraging the exploration and implementation of new technologies, resources and digitalization to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Lead a culture of inclusion and belonging, promoting member engagement, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, category management, or indirect procurement (5 years with a Master’s degree).
- Minimum of 3 years of people leadership experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, and contract management activities.
- Experience working cross-functionally to influence stakeholders and achieve business objectives.
- Experience leading teams and stakeholders through significant organizational, process, or technology change, with demonstrated change management and adoption leadership capabilities.
- Must be able to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance.
- Must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP Ariba preferred, with demonstrated proficiency in other leading source-to-pay and procurement platforms (e.g., Coupa, JAGGAER, Ivalua, or similar solutions) considered highly valuable.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft tools, including: Excel (advanced level), Power BI, Microsoft Project or comparable project management tools.
- Proven success driving procurement transformation through the development, implementation, and adoption of standardized processes, governance, tools, and best practices.
- Proven people leadership experience, including coaching, mentoring, and developing team members into expanded or more senior roles, with measurable examples of talent development success.
