Senior Manager, GTM Business Systems
About the Role
As we scale our go-to-market operations, we need a systems leader who can own the systems architecture that powers the Hyperproof GTM Engine: from lead to close, to renewal to general customer success. This role reports to the Director, Business and Revenue Operations and will work closely with them to define the business systems strategy, including optimization of existing tools and roadmap planning. This leader will bring discipline and rigor to our approach to building systems, processes, and workflows around Salesforce and other integrated systems.
North Star: Systems that are reliable, well-documented, and require minimal manual intervention, even as complexity grows.
Who You Are
- A strategic systems leader who builds, not just architects. You think in terms of architecture, data flow, and business outcomes, and you are skilled in Salesforce.
- You’ve owned interconnected business systems ecosystems end-to-end, understanding how they fit together and where data flows break down.
- You default to Salesforce as the system of record and instinctively think about how data should flow between systems before building anything.
- You’re never satisfied with “it works.” You continuously evaluate the systems landscape for optimization, automation, and opportunities to simplify.
- You have the expertise to build solutions and not just hand them off. You thrive in environments where the structure is shifting.
- You’re the connective tissue between technical and non-technical stakeholders, able to translate business problems into systems solutions and explain technical trade-offs in plain language.
- Results-oriented with a bias toward action. You drive issues to closure and don’t let things linger.
- You bring strong project management instincts and can evaluate options against cost, complexity, timeline, and business impact to recommend the right path forward.
- You believe in documentation as a discipline, not an afterthought. You’ve built data governance frameworks, technical maps, and systems documentation that other people actually use.
- Curious and proactive about AI and emerging technologies; willing to experiment with tools and AI-assisted automation to improve efficiency across the revenue tech stack.
Responsibilities
Leadership and Communication
- Be the thought partner for the Director of Business and Revenue Operations. Push operational efficiency forward.
- Own a structured intake and prioritization process for systems requests. Independently evaluate whether a requested change is valid, needed, and properly scoped or escalate it to Business Operations Leadership.
- Communicate decisions, trade-offs, and timelines transparently to stakeholders.
Systems Strategy & Roadmap
- Co-own the business systems roadmap with the Director of Business Operations. Evaluate, recommend, and prioritize optimization opportunities, new tool implementations, and architectural changes.
- Architect the integration and data flow strategy across the revenue tech stack, with Salesforce as the system of record. Own the technical vision for how systems connect.
- Lead/PM all large business systems implementations, including requirements gathering, vendor/tool evaluation, Agile delivery, and go-live.
Operations & Administration
- Serve as the primary administrator for all tools in the business operations stack. Own implementations, configurations, and day-to-day operational support.
- Own or partner on critical workflows such as lead routing, attribution, account hierarchy, CPQ and order management, and auto-renewals.
- Maintain all integrations with minimal downtime or errors. Leverage APIs for data exchange and user auto-provisioning across the stack.
- Ensure all systems meet Hyperproof standards: no duplicates, seamless data flow, and consistent setup across environments.
- Maintain the RevOps sprint cadence, checkpoints, and release calendar. Consistently meet deployment deadlines.
- Hands-on CPQ ownership. We are completing a Nue CPQ re-implementation, which will be a primary focus during onboarding.
Documentation & Data Governance
- Create and maintain comprehensive systems documentation: technical maps, field libraries, integration documentation, and change logs. All system changes require documentation for education and compliance before release.
- Own the data governance framework, including defined data owners, quality standards, SLAs, and escalation paths.
Security & Compliance
- Own security settings across all tools: user access reviews, permission configurations, and customer data protection.
- Understand requirements across EU, FedRAMP, and additional audit frameworks relevant to Hyperproof’s use case.
- Review and validate security configurations on a regular cadence, with documented evidence.
AI & Innovation
- Identify and pilot AI-powered enhancements across the business systems stack (e.g., AI-driven data enrichment, intelligent automation).
- Bring recommendations to Business Operations Leadership with clear business cases and measurable outcomes.
- Stay current on AI capabilities within Salesforce and adjacent tools. Proactively assess how emerging features can reduce manual effort or improve data quality.
