About the Role
The Senior Manager of Global Product Marketing, NBA drives marketing strategy across new markets and emerging technologies to deepen player engagement and retention. By connecting Product, Creative, and Player Services teams, this position ensures every campaign aligns with our shared vision. We’re committed to delivering personal, relevant, and timely content to our NBA 2K players, and we’re looking for someone who shares that passion. This role reports to the Director of Product Marketing for the NBA game and requires onsite work in a hybrid capacity at our Novato, CA headquarters.
Responsibilities
- Lead Marketing Strategy: Drive engagement and retention of NBA 2K players across multiple titles, platforms, and technologies.
- Define Positioning: Lead positioning, messaging, audience strategy, and supporting assets throughout the product’s lifecycle across all channels and campaigns.
- Shape the Journey: Partner with cross-functional teams to create product positioning that supports players throughout their entire lifecycle.
- Drive Innovation: Collaborate with Developers, Product, and Commercial leads to launch marketing workstreams for new in-game technologies.
- Creative Execution: Guide the briefing process for new products, ensuring assets across CRM, Social, and In-Game channels resonate with our community.
- Foster Collaboration: Build authentic relationships across the organization to turn ambitious ideas into reality, including Product, Creative, Player Services, and Development teams.
- Integrated Mobile Leadership: Oversee marketing strategy for NBA 2K’s Mobile portfolio, managing an Associate responsible for executing against your vision and maintaining relationships with key mobile development studios.
Requirements
- Industry Insight: Background in video game marketing across console, PC, and mobile, with a genuine interest in the NBA 2K ecosystem and live-service gaming.
- Basketball Fluency: Deep knowledge of professional and collegiate basketball culture to connect authentically with our audience.
- Strategic Storytelling: Ability to interpret data and telemetry to build actionable marketing plans that tell a story.

Preferred Qualifications
- Passionate about gaming and sports.
- Familiar with 2K IPs, including NBA and WWE.
- Experience working with developers and licensors.
- Willingness to travel for Development Studio relationship and planning (e.g., Seattle).
Pay
The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $123,200 and $182,360 per year. Base pay may vary based on market location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. The total compensation package may also include bonuses, equity awards, and a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
Schedule
This role is required to work onsite in a hybrid capacity at the Novato, CA headquarters.
