About the role
As the Senior Manager of Consumer Insights at fairlife, you will lead the development and execution of consumer insights strategies that drive brand growth and innovation. This role partners closely with Marketing, Innovation, Sales, and R&D teams to uncover deep consumer understanding and translate insights into actionable business recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, execution, and analysis of qualitative and quantitative consumer research to inform brand strategy, innovation, and marketing campaigns.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of consumer trends, behaviors, and preferences in the dairy and broader beverage categories.
- Translate consumer insights into clear, compelling stories and actionable recommendations for cross-functional partners.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Innovation teams to identify white-space opportunities and guide product development.
- Manage relationships with external research agencies and vendors to ensure high-quality, cost-effective research delivery.
- Monitor competitive activity and category trends to identify threats and opportunities for fairlife.
- Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership, influencing key business decisions.
- Champion a consumer-centric culture across the organization by embedding insights into day-to-day decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Market Research, Psychology, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in consumer insights, market research, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of leveraging consumer insights to drive business growth in CPG, preferably in food/beverage.
- Strong expertise in both qualitative (e.g., focus groups, ethnography) and quantitative (e.g., surveys, segmentation) research methodologies.
- Experience managing external research agencies and vendors.
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, Qualtrics, Tableau).
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for the food/beverage industry and a curiosity about consumer behavior.
