Senior Manager, Compensation

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Compensation to join the team of a leader in the Media space. This role will shape compensation strategy in partnership with HR and business leaders, helping ensure pay programs are competitive, equitable, and aligned with business goals. The position will also oversee equity program governance, executive compensation analysis, and total rewards communications across the organization. In addition, the Senior Manager will use data, benchmarking, and emerging technology to strengthen compensation operations and decision-making. Location: Los Angeles, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $229,000 – $343,000 annually Responsibilities Partner with HR and business leaders to create competitive compensation packages Develop and maintain the organization's compensation philosophy Lead the design and governance of equity programs Prepare analyses for executive compensation and committee reviews Conduct job evaluations to ensure pay equity compliance Create training materials on total rewards for employees Analyze complex datasets to provide insights and improve processes Engage in compensation surveys to gather competitive data Implement AI-enabled processes to enhance compensation operations Evaluate compensation programs for compliance and effectiveness Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience 7+ years in human resources, compensation, or a related field, with management experience Proficient in Google Sheets and Excel Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms, preferably Workday Experience with market benchmarking tools such as Radford or Pave Benefits Paid parental leave Comprehensive medical coverage Emotional and mental health support programs Participation in the company's long-term success through compensation packages Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
