Senior Manager, Commercial Marketing
About the role
The Senior Manager, Consumer Marketing is a leadership position that develops a high-performing team responsible for delivering key outcomes through marketing strategy and communications. This leader partners cross-functionally with Consumer & Market Intelligence, Product, Digital Business, Acquisition, Creative, and Marketing leadership teams to ensure product and program campaigns are efficiently designed and delivered throughout the customer lifecycle.
The team is comprised of Consumer Marketing Managers who analyze consumer insights and customer intelligence to inform go-to-market strategies for new products and programs. They monitor performance, optimize, and socialize campaign results, leading the development of new ideas and business cases while supporting marketing strategy for other T-Mobile areas communicating with the existing consumer base.
This role operates autonomously, designing strategy and defining input and output goals. The leader must balance high-level strategic vision with hands-on support for plan development and optimization. Experience driving full-funnel multi-media marketing campaigns, leveraging 1P and 3P data, targeting and retargeting strategies, and omni-channel marketing across digital and physical shopping destinations is essential.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing plans focused on segmenting, targeting, and positioning for the postpaid subscription base portfolio, including new product introductions and promotional offers.
- Conduct extensive performance management, analyzing customer insights, business performance, and marketing campaign performance.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including operations, analytics, finance, product management, product marketing, consumer intelligence and insights, acquisition, brand, creative, and pricing to develop and implement customer plans.
- Ensure perfect execution of new products and offers in market through strong cross-functional collaboration.
- Identify opportunities for improved results based on competitive landscape, business and campaign performance, and customer struggles.
- Provide strategic recommendations to better engage with the existing consumer base.
- Lead socialization of team plans and results with cross-functional leadership.
- Perform additional duties and projects as identified by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and 7+ years of marketing experience OR a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent.
- 5+ years in one or more of the following categories: software/hardware, web, telecommunications, consumer electronics, or consumer packaged goods, with a focus on marketing and a highly consumer-centric point of view.
- 5+ years of people leadership experience in managing, coaching, and developing direct reports.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- At least 18 years of age.

- Strong communication skills, including presentation, written, and verbal methods, with executive presence.
- Ability to develop and implement marketing strategies that increase awareness, consideration, conversion, engagement, and retention.
- Experience optimizing campaigns to streamline and drive team efficiency.
- Proficiency in driving email, SMS, push notification, and owned marketing programs to engage customers throughout their lifecycle, with translation into paid marketing programs.
- Consumer-centric approach with a desire for deep understanding of customer behaviors, preferences, and expectations.
- Uses data-driven insights to create customer journeys and content based on user behavior, demographics, and preferences.
- Implements targeting and retargeting strategies.
- Experience defining and implementing go-to-market strategies and measuring performance.
- Builds roadmaps and leads A/B testing initiatives for messaging, timing, and creative elements to continuously improve campaign performance.

Pay
Base pay range: $121,700 - $219,700. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on work location, qualifications, and experience. Most corporate employees are eligible for an annual bonus based on company and/or individual performance, set at a percentage of eligible earnings in the prior year (e.g., 20% target for this role).
