Senior Manager, Business Tax Services

Role Overview: The Senior Manager will provide expert tax advisory services, including planning, research, compliance, and mergers and acquisitions activities, to a diverse client base. They will analyze complex tax issues, determine appropriate tax treatments for domestic and international scenarios, and conduct tax due diligence. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver industry-specific solutions and developing, motivating, and training staff members. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of eight years' experience in public accounting and/or corporate taxBachelor’s degree from an accredited institutionLicensed CPA, EA, JD/LLM, or other approved credentials; ability to obtain required credentials if not already heldFluent in English and JapaneseStrong knowledge of corporate tax matters, including provision, advisory experience, and ASC 740 familiarityExcellent research, writing, and communication skills to articulate complex financial informationAbility to manage multiple engagements and lead client service teams Key Responsibilities Advise clients on comprehensive tax services, supporting business developmentIdentify, research, and resolve complex tax issuesAnalyze tax consequences related to domestic and international transactionsPerform tax due diligence and prepare detailed reportsCollaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver tailored solutionsMentor and develop staff-level team members
