Senior Manager, Business Operations Lead (Hybrid)
Hybrid position based in Charlotte, NC. Other major Collins Aerospace locations with a Digital Technology presence may also be considered, including Cedar Rapids, IA; Richardson, TX; and Windsor Locks, CT.

About the role
As the Business Operations Lead, you will act as a strategic and operational partner to the VP of Business Systems and Strategic Transformation (BST). You will translate high-level vision into consistent execution, orchestrating the department's operational rhythm, tracking commitments, and ensuring cross-functional follow-through. This role emphasizes governance, performance tracking, and executive communications within the BST organization and across Collins and RTX Digital leadership.
Responsibilities
- Orchestrate the Team Rhythm: Design, maintain, and optimize the department's operational cadence, including leadership standups, weekly staff meetings, monthly business reviews (MBRs), quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and annual planning cycles.
- Rigorous Action Follow-Up: Own execution tracking across all operational forums. Capture decision outcomes, chase deliverables, unblock interdependencies, and hold leadership accountable for commitments.
- Strategic Initiative Management: Lead high-impact, cross-functional projects, focusing on BST process optimization.
- Governance & Performance Tracking: Define and track Goals, Improvement targets, KPIs, and system health metrics to align with corporate objectives.
- Financial & Resource Management: Partner with BST Finance and HR to align departmental budget and resource plans.
- Executive Communications: Prepare strategic presentations, board-level updates, and all-hands messaging to communicate BST roadmap and ROI.

Requirements
- University Degree and minimum 10 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with 7+ years of experience.
- 5+ years in business operations, management consulting, corporate strategy, or program management within a tech or high-growth environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship (U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder).
- Willingness to travel up to 20%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience building and running structured operational cadences (staff meetings, QBRs, planning cycles) for technical or executive teams.
- Proven background in tracking commitments, managing deadlines, and steering complex teams toward execution without direct authority.
- Technical acumen with digital business systems and processes.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- MBA preferred.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $132,400 – $251,600 USD. The range is representative of all experience levels. RTX considers factors such as role, function, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills when extending an offer.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs, depending on role level and collective-bargaining agreements. Payments are not guaranteed and depend on individual, business unit, and company performance.
