About the role

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Agency Development to lead the team responsible for partnering with media agencies and strategic partners, helping them grow their digital presence on Snapchat. Based in our NY or LA office, you will bring leadership experience, business development expertise, and a deep understanding of the digital advertising landscape.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global team of agency leads and partner managers, scaling them effectively.
• Define and execute a global strategy to accelerate revenue growth for your agency or partner portfolio.
• Identify and develop strategic partnership opportunities and commercial agreements across departments.
• Hold financial responsibility for your agency and partner portfolio, ensuring annual and quarterly targets are met.
• Act as the primary point of contact, escalation point, and thought leader for agency and partner relationships.
• Establish Snapchat as a leading platform for brand building and business outcomes.
• Develop and execute scalable agency capability initiatives to equip teams with knowledge, frameworks, and best practices.
• Conduct formal business reviews with agency leadership and key partners.
• Understand agencies’ businesses and develop strategies to meet their needs.
• Provide best-in-class client service across all facets of agency operations, including executive, investment, planning, social, and research teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth across new and existing customers.
• Develop a tiered agency support model for different agency operating companies.

• Ability to lead high-performing and experienced partnership and business development teams.
• Strong cross-functional communication and influence skills.
• Understanding of Snapchat’s value proposition and ability to simplify complex ideas.
• Experience in matrix organizations and ability to secure support from key internal stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment.
• Proven ability to build C-level relationships both internally and externally.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of experience in business development, marketing, brand advertising, agency, media sales, or online advertising, with a focus on leading businesses or accounts.
• 2+ years of experience leading high-performing teams.
• Experience working with executive contacts and growing revenue through long-term partnerships.

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct agency management experience at a similar company.

Schedule

This role follows a "default together" policy, requiring in-office work 4+ days per week.

Pay

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone determining the salary range for this position. Starting pay will be based on skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions, and may be negotiable within the range.

• Zone A (CA, WA, NYC): $303,000–$455,000 annually.
• Zone B: $288,000–$432,000 annually.
• Zone C: $258,000–$387,000 annually.
