Responsibilities
- Perform advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities on manufacturing and laboratory equipment and systems.
- Support equipment used in Manufacturing, Process Development, Quality Analytical Laboratories, and other ARI site areas.
- Execute maintenance activities safely and in compliance with site procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Achieve accurate and complete documentation of maintenance activities and work orders in the Maximo CMMS system.
- Communicate maintenance activities, issues, and status updates effectively with system operators and key stakeholders.
- Execute work efficiently to maximize productivity while maintaining high quality standards.
- Support right-first-time execution through proper planning, troubleshooting, and adherence to procedures.
- Identify operational inefficiencies, workflow interruptions, or waste and recommend improvement opportunities.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support implementation of identified solutions.
- Maintain and develop technical skills to improve team capabilities and overall site performance.
- Provide maintenance support as required outside of normal working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED and 2 years of utilities operations and/or maintenance work or military experience OR Associate degree and 6 months of utilities operations and/or maintenance work or military experience
- 5+ years of combined education, training, and experience in mechanical maintenance, particularly with sanitary processing equipment and systems.
- 3+ years of experience working with pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience working in highly regulated environments (cGMP).
- Experience executing and documenting maintenance work orders using the Maximo Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and technical documentation.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate task status and issues.
- Proven ability to collaborate and interact constructively with cross-functional teams.
