Senior Maintenance & HVAC Technician - Orlando Rental Homes | Company Vehicle Pr

About the role

This isn't a desk job. You'll be out in the field every day driving a company vehicle across Orlando, knocking out work orders, solving problems, and making residents' lives better. No two days look the same.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance requests across our portfolio of single family homes, townhomes, duplexes, and condos across the Orlando area.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, including troubleshooting issues across various brands and models (10+ year old residential systems), repair, remove, and replace parts including coils, Freon, compressors, fans, capacitors, drain lines, and more, full system installations including air handlers and compressors.
• Troubleshoot and repair appliances, including troubleshooting across various brands and models (10+ year old residential appliances), repair, remove, and replace: stoves, refrigerators, washers, dryers, microwaves, and more.
• Perform plumbing tasks such as removing and replacing toilets, sinks, faucets, and shower heads, water supply lines, shutoff valves, bath and shower valves, water heaters and garbage disposals.
• Perform electrical tasks such as removing and replacing light and fan fixtures, switches, and receptacles, installing and connecting appliances (OTR microwaves, dishwashers, garbage disposals, etc.).
• Handle general/carpentry/drywall/paint tasks such as minor drywall repairs and patches, applying and blending texture, touch-up painting, minor cabinet and countertop repairs.
• Log time in and time out for all jobs, before and after photos of every repair, list all materials used and submit receipts.
• Have a positive attitude every single day, take pride in 5-star resident service.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in maintenance at apartments or rental properties.
• 7+ years of residential HVAC troubleshooting, repairs, and full system installations.
• Experience with older properties (1980s through 2000s), fixtures, and appliances.
• EPA Certification required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Comfortable with significant daily driving as a core part of your workday (your own transportation to and from work is required — company vehicle is provided during work hours).
• Comfortable with a pre-employment background screening.
• Positive communicator who takes pride in 5-star resident service.
