At Vital, we’re seeking a Senior Magento Developer to join our team. In this role, you’ll be pivotal in maintaining and building Magento-based eCommerce websites.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize Magento-based eCommerce solutions, including custom module development, theme creation, and integration of third-party extensions.
• Work with project managers and the client to determine requirements and author technical specifications based on those requirements.
• Implement performance tuning techniques, including caching strategies, database optimization, and code refactoring to ensure high-performing Magento applications.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and designers to ensure that each project achieves its full potential.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with Magento 2, including Object-oriented PHP development, custom module creation, and theme customization.
• Familiarity with Magento tools and technologies, such as Composer, Magento CLI, and deployment processes.
• Experience integrating various payment gateways and APIs within Magento.
• Understanding of eCommerce best practices, including UX/UI design, conversion optimization, and analytics.
• A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
• Adaptable and eager to learn.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of SEO principles and their application in Magento.
• Experience working with SOAP and/or REST APIs.

Pay

Competitive Salary Range: $75k-$115k

Schedule

Fluid workday hours (we just ask that you find time for 8 hours of work). Freedom to choose a hybrid WFH and/or in-office schedule.
