Senior Magento Developer

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, and the like
Excellent English communication skills (oral and written)
Must have great attention to detail
Possess a strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines
Takes ownership of tasks and see them through to completion
At least 5 years of building scalable and robust e-commerce websites
Well versed in PHP, specifically with Magento 2
Magento architectural and custom module development experience
Expert in troubleshooting and debugging Magento applications
Front end experience: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Experienced in working with 3rd party APIs
Thorough knowledge of Git
Linux/Unix experience
Experience managing applications in the cloud is a plus

Responsibilities

Effectively estimate the time and requirements needed to develop a project to specifications.
Translate the client’s technical requirements into code while thinking outside the box.
Test and update your web application so that it can be used on most web browsers.
Work with clients and business leaders to discover, define, and execute solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and cost-effective, including requirements – analysis.
