Senior Machine Operator

Job Description

Ensure machine is operating at required speed, producing quality product with minimal waste.

• Change paper, glues, inks, as well as unjam machines as necessary.
• Assist Adjuster Supervisor with training and retraining of Bag Catchers, Collator Tenders and Machine Tenders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience is needed.
• Three to five years of factory experience is preferred, or six months to one year experience as a Bag Catcher or Machine Tender.
• Must pass Bennett Mechanical Test.
• Must have basic reading, math and communication skills.
• Must have ability to make adjustments and minor repairs, with good working knowledge of machinery.
• Must be able to correctly read a ruler and use various hand tools/industrial equipment.
