About the role
The Senior Logistics & Operations Associate will support the day-to-day execution of Starface's logistics and operations function. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations & Logistics, this role involves owning key operational workstreams across outbound logistics, retailer fulfillment, and distribution center management.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for our distribution center (DC) partners, focusing on outbound logistics (shipping to retailers)
- Ensure on-time order fulfillment across assigned retail partners and sales channels, delivering best-in-class service
- Partner with Finance to ensure procedural compliance for inventory, warehouse operations, and fulfillment & transportation costs
- Travel to attend physical inventory counts at distribution centers approximately two times per year
- Help maintain and further SOPs, vendor guidelines, routing guides, and other operational documentation
- Support the continued development of operational best practices, tools, and processes across outbound logistics
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, measure performance, and support key operational KPIs, including retailer chargebacks and claims management
- Support continuous improvements to 3PL warehouse fulfillment processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase on-time delivery
- Partner cross-functionally to improve operational processes and business performance
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system updates and enhancements
- Develop an understanding of inbound logistics and provide backup support as needed
- Manage retailer chargebacks by reviewing dispute claims, identifying root causes, coordinating with internal teams to resolve discrepancies, and helping prevent recurring issues
- Analyze shipping records and transaction data to validate claims and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Maintain documentation that supports operational consistency and strengthens retailer and vendor relationships
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience working in supply chain, logistics, operations, or fulfillment within the CPG industry across ecommerce and/or brick-and-mortar retail
- Hands-on experience working with 3PL warehouses, distribution centers, and B2B order management
- A strong understanding of supply chain operations, including inventory management, warehouse operations, freight logistics, and retailer order fulfillment
- Experience working with ERP systems (NetSuite is a plus), warehouse management systems, and advanced Excel
- Data-driven and comfortable analyzing operational metrics to identify trends, solve problems, and improve processes
- Takes ownership of your work, follows through on action items, and can independently manage priorities in a fast-paced, fully remote environment
- Enjoys digging into operational issues, identifying root causes, and implementing practical solutions to prevent them from happening again
- Communicates effectively across teams and builds strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, retailers, warehouses, and external partners
- Experienced in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where priorities can shift quickly and comfortable adapting as the business evolves
- Able to travel up to 20% for physical inventory counts, team offsites, and special projects
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field
- Professional certifications such as Six Sigma, Lean, or APICS are a plus

Pay
The compensation range for this role is a $75,000-90,000 base depending on level of experience, as well as bonus eligibility.
