About the role
As a Senior Loan Officer, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of mortgage loans, providing expert advice to clients, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of mortgage loans
- Provide expert advice to clients on loan products and processes
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
- Conduct thorough underwriting and risk assessments
- Work closely with clients to understand their financial needs and goals
- Prepare and present loan applications to clients and third-party partners
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mortgage lending
- Proven track record of successful loan origination and management
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of current mortgage laws and regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid California Real Estate License
- Experience with loan processing systems and software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
