About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the sale of the Bank's loan products and the loan products of Bank-approved investors or lenders. They will also develop new business and business sources for the Bank through its Branch network and marketing efforts, as well as strengthen the Bank's awareness among customers and potential customers.

Responsibilities

  • Register in NMLS and work within the scope of the Bank's approved investors or lenders.
  • Secure loans through the Bank or approved investors/lenders only.
  • Comply with all applicable Bank policies and procedures, including rate quotes and rate lock adherence.
  • Ensure full compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
  • Pricing loans according to the Bank of Hope-provided price sheet.
  • Collect all applicable fees as per the Bank of Hope Corporate Fee Sheet.
  • Use only the data systems provided by the Bank for loan processing, including loan origination system, automated underwriting systems, and payroll and accounting systems.

Requirements

  • Minimum Education: High School Diploma
  • Experience: 5 years of banking experience, preferably in mortgage
  • Technical Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image; ability to respond to sensitive inquiries and customer complaints; ability to make persuasive speeches and presentations; proficient in English; excellent analytical skills; good analytical/math skills; ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects; knowledge of lending operations, Note or International Dept. policies and procedures; knowledge of bank regulations affecting customer accounts.

Benefits

Bank of Hope offers a competitive salary range for this full-time position, which can vary based on skills and experience. The salary range is $16.50 Hourly - $18 Hourly + bonus + benefits.
