Senior Loan Officer - Mortgage

Sale of the Bank’s loan products and the loan products of Bank-approved investors or lenders.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and business sources for the Bank through its Branch network and marketing efforts.
• Develop new business and business sources for the Bank outside its Branch network.
• Strengthen awareness of the Bank, its history, and its services among customers, potential customers, and referral sources.
• Register in NMLS (Mortgage Loan Officer Full Name) and remain registered throughout employment with the Bank.
• Secure loans exclusively through the Bank or Bank-approved investors or lenders.
• Fully educate yourself on all applicable Bank policies and procedures and strictly adhere to them, including those governing rate quotes and rate locking.
• Ensure full compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Price all loans in accordance with the Bank of Hope-provided price sheet in effect at the time of rate lock.
• Timely collect all applicable fees as set forth in the Bank of Hope Corporate Fee Sheet; fees may not be waived without prior written approval from a Branch or Regional Manager.
• Use only Bank-provided data systems for loan processing, data capture, and business records, including the loan origination system, prescribed automated underwriting systems (if applicable), and payroll and accounting systems. No other programs or systems may be used without prior written consent from the Executive Vice President of Mortgage Lending.

Fees

• Application Fees: Must be collected at the time of providing service.
• Appraisal Fees: Must be collected at the time of providing service.
• Corporate Fees: All corporate fees, add-ons, and/or upcharges as set forth in the Bank of Hope Corporate Fee Sheet must be collected.
• Administrative Fees: The Bank charges an administrative fee associated with the closing of the loan.

Pay

The salary range for this full-time position is $16.50 - $17.50 hourly, plus bonus and benefits. Salary ranges are determined based on qualifications, level, and location. Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience.
