Senior Living Housekeeper

About the role

Merrill Gardens at Sherwood is currently seeking Housekeepers to join their team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with seniors and committed to supporting their wellness journey.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and maintain resident apartments and common areas.
• Provide high-quality customer service to all residents and guests.
• Report needed supplies to appropriate designees and coordinate housekeeping services with other departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years of age.
• One to two years of housekeeping experience in a similar environment, preferred.
• Experience working with seniors or in a customer service-focused environment helpful.
• Ability to obtain First Aid and CPR certification.

Physical Requirements

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 90 lbs, pushing/pulling, and other physical activities. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
