Senior Living Caregiver (Morning Shift)

Merrill Gardens at Hillsboro is seeking compassionate Caregivers to support residents in our senior living community. We are looking for responsible, honest individuals who genuinely love working with seniors.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry, and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by state regulations.
• Complete daily progress reports for Assisted Living and Garden House residents (chart by exception), or more often if needed.

Requirements

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by the state agency, or the ability to obtain it.
• CNA license or two years of previous experience as a caregiver.
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement throughout the workday.
