Senior Litigation Attorney

Position Overview

A respected plaintiff-side law firm is seeking a Senior Litigation Attorney to manage complex personal injury litigation matters. This role is ideal for an experienced litigator who can independently handle cases, mentor junior attorneys, and contribute to litigation strategy from inception through trial.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage a full litigation caseload from intake through resolution.
• Develop case strategy and oversee all phases of litigation.
• Draft and argue substantive motions.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Represent clients at hearings and in court proceedings.
• Prepare cases for mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial.
• Collaborate with firm leadership on litigation strategy.
• Mentor junior attorneys and support case development.

Qualifications

• Required: Active Florida Bar license. Minimum 5+ years of personal injury litigation experience. Strong courtroom advocacy, legal writing, and case management skills. Ability to independently manage complex litigation matters.
• PREFERRED: Significant deposition and motion practice experience. Federal court litigation experience. Plaintiff or defense litigation background. Strong academic credentials.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive base salary: $170,000 - $200,000, based on experience.
