Responsibilities
- Affords support in innovation and process improvement within Learning Operations.
- Provides administrative and tactical support for the day-to-day operations and facilitation of Alliance Safety Council’s learning experiences and programs.
- Assists in onboarding, technical training, and coaching of new hires within the team.
- Conducts all essential training logistic tasks, including maintaining and distributing materials, setting up the learning environment, preparing class documentation, facilitating communications with participants, arranging catering, collecting surveys, and issuing course completion certificates and digital badges.
- Acts as an LMS administrator for functions such as course scheduling, course setup, course maintenance, reporting, and other operational tasks that support learning products and programs.
- Produces digital training as needed to assist instructors with courses by providing technical instructions, monitoring participation, distributing follow-up directions, and supporting the use of a digital classroom.
- Understands and complies with program requirements and procedures set by governing bodies such as OSHA, ARSC, and ASC Signature Program guidelines.
- Compiles reporting data for OSHA Training Institute Education Center and administers the Outreach Training Program, including card requests, course prerequisite requirements, and monitoring activities.
- Acts as a point of contact for participants, instructors, partners, and vendors.
- Troubleshoots and resolves Tier 3 support cases.
- Lead in the effort to create standard operating procedures and process improvements.
- Conducts recertification efforts as needed for Alliance Safety Council programs.
- Serves as backup to the Instructor Manager and temporarily assumes their duties during absences.
- Manages special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience working in a learning operations or support role, and a demonstrated ability to act as a peer leader, mentor, and coach within the team.
- Demonstrated competence in written and verbal communications, computer skills, multitasking, phone and email communication, and etiquette.
- A bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of experience in administration, operations, or customer service, ideally within a learning environment, is required.
- Experience with adult learners in the skilled workforce is preferred.
