About the role

The Senior Lead Reconciliation Analyst leads the team that provides reconciliation services to VIP customers and oversees customer relationship and communication. This position maintains an in-depth understanding of customers’ needs and their business to provide the best use of the reconciliation application while mentoring other team members to achieve the same levels of customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Mentor and motivate Lead Reconciliation Analysts to enhance skill level as part of the customer experience.
  • Own the customer relationship and communication during the onboarding process, including welcome correspondence, follow-up training, and assistance with completion of required documentation to establish third-party payer data transmittal.
  • Serve as the first point of escalation for customer issues.
  • Communicate necessary customer actions, including deposit verifications, claim disputes, write-off approvals, and completion of necessary forms and documentation.
  • Oversee development and communication of customer reports.
  • Provide analysis of reconciliation data and trends; assist customers in the design of necessary accounting protocols for submission of payment and claims posting activities.
  • Quickly and accurately answer customer questions, route incoming calls to the appropriate parties, and resolve customer complaints.
  • Perform claims research with pharmacies and various PBMs in a timely manner.
  • Utilize Admin tools to triage system and file issues and articulate IT tickets before escalating to management.
  • All other duties assigned.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical reconciliation practices, including accounting-based principles.
  • Driven learner who assesses own strengths and weaknesses, pursues training and development opportunities, strives to continuously build knowledge and skills, and shares expertise with others.
  • Seeks assistance from peers and supervisors to supplement current skills and industry knowledge.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

  • Ability to analyze processes and information, identify problems and trends, and develop effective solutions and strategies.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years’ experience in a professional customer service environment.
  • Experience using MS Word and Excel.
  • High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Pharmacy industry knowledge.
  • Management of direct or indirect reports.
  • Experience in billing or reconciliation.
  • Ten-key by touch.

Work Conditions

In-office in Fort Worth, TX. May work across different time zones.
