Senior Lead Business Growth Strategy Consultant - Market Recruiting Manager
About This Role
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Business Growth Strategy Consultant to support the recruitment efforts across their cross-channel advisor platforms, including Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network (FiNet) and related initiatives. The candidate will recruit financial advisors within their region.
The goal is to develop and maintain a strong pipeline of financial advisor candidates and to provide insight on industry trends, competitive intelligence, product platforms, deals, and compensation plans. In this role, the candidate will act as an advisor to leadership to develop and/or influence recruitment of experienced independent contractor Financial Advisors and to expand the breadth of recruitment to FiNet.
Partner with other FiNet field recruiters to knowledge share and develop recruitment strategies and expertise to promote business growth in the independent practice space.
Be responsible for building and maintaining excellent relationships with independent Financial Advisors to enhance their satisfaction and retention as well as developing excellent partnerships with management to increase Financial Advisor affiliations to FiNet.
Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges regarding independent advisor recruitment, delivering solutions that lead to revenue growth organically.
Provide vision, direction, and expertise to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions.
Engage with function peers, colleagues, and supervisors to resolve issues related to the recruitment process.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of Business Growth Strategy experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience sourcing and recruiting Financial Advisors/Wealth Advisors
- US only: Successfully completed Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7 (or FINRA recognized equivalents) sufficient to qualify for immediate FINRA registration
Job Expectations
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
- US only: Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate FINRA license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. FINRA Series 7 or equivalent must be completed within a 90-day time period following commencement of employment if not immediately available to transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted. This will be communicated at time of offer acceptance.
- Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements is mandatory. In addition to state registration and licensing requirements, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply.
- Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired.
