Description
RIOS is an international design collective dedicated to creating wonder within the built environment through design. We believe in design as an optimistic act that transforms the world through invention and ideas. Our practice spans architecture, placemaking, and landscape architecture, aiming to redefine design as a continuous process.
Responsibilities
- Guides, mentors, and maintains project milestones and deliverables in a timely manner throughout the life of the project.
- Thoroughly understands BIM workflow and develops project specifications.
- Demonstrated experience in completing projects through construction, including successful development and oversight of design documentation such as schematic, design development, and construction documentation.
- Oversees and supports the preparation of basis of design and specifications, product research, and material selection.
- Reviews and oversees drawing sets at all phases and on multiple projects, leads consultant coordination, oversees code research, initiates and oversees plan check processes, and mentors teams with complex design problems and details.
- Manages, reviews, and responds to Request for Information (RFI) and submittals, leads consultant coordination, manages drawing issuances and bulletins, attends site visits, documents field notes, creates punchlists.
Requirements
- A minimum of 10+ years of professional experience.
- Bachelor of Architecture degree or Master's of Architecture degree from an accredited college or university.
- Experience with Autocad, Rhino, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and REVIT.
- Working knowledge of team collaboration & management tools such as Deltek, Newforma, Teams, Bluebeam, and conferencing tools.
- Accredited Landscape Architect preferred.
Pay
$95,000 - $140,000/year DOE
