Senior Lab Technician, Filtration and Separation

Responsibilities
- Sample handling, buffer preparation, and lab organization
- Execute standard lab techniques such as pH, conductivity, and pipetting
- Work in a BSL-2 laboratory environment
- Maintain detailed documentation and lab records
- Follow and accurately execute SOPs and Work Instructions
- Prepare standard solutions, reagents, and other laboratory materials
- Maintain laboratory equipment and conduct routine calibrations
- Handle hazardous materials safely
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a general chemistry, biochemistry, or biopharmaceutical laboratory
- Preferred fields of study: Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related scientific field
- Proficiency with laboratory information management systems and data integrity practices
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Environmental Conditions
- Able to lift 40 lbs without assistance
- Laboratory and office setting
- Some degree of PPE required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, etc.)
- Exposure to strong odors (chemical, lubricants, biological products, etc.)
- Work with hazardous/toxic materials
Pay
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Minnesota is $21.82–$29.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
