Responsibilities

  • Perform general chemistry, biochemistry, or biopharmaceutical laboratory tasks including sample handling, buffer preparation, and lab organization
  • Execute standard lab techniques such as pH measurement, conductivity, pipetting, and other routine procedures
  • Work in a BSL-2 laboratory environment
  • Maintain detailed documentation and lab records using laboratory information management systems
  • Read, follow, and accurately execute Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions
  • Handle hazardous materials safely and maintain laboratory equipment, including routine calibrations
  • Prepare standard solutions, reagents, and other laboratory materials
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively in English

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a general chemistry, biochemistry, or biopharmaceutical laboratory
  • Preferred fields of study: Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related scientific field
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Environmental Conditions

  • Able to lift 40 lbs without assistance
  • Laboratory and office setting
  • Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, etc.)
  • Exposure to strong odors (chemical, lubricants, biological products, etc.)
  • Work with hazardous/toxic materials

Pay

The hourly pay range for this position based in Minnesota is $21.82–$29.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
