What You'll Do
- Manage and grow key national and regional Pet Specialty retail and distributor accounts
- Develop and execute strategic business plans to increase sales, distribution, and profitability
- Lead customer business reviews, presentations, and annual planning meetings
- Analyze sales trends, forecasts, and market data to identify growth opportunities
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations to deliver exceptional customer support
- Negotiate pricing, promotions, and trade investments to maximize account performance
- Build long-term partnerships that strengthen customer loyalty and business growth
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of Key Account Management or National Account Sales experience
- Experience within CPG, Pet Food, Pet Products, Animal Health, Consumer Goods, or related industries
- Proven success managing retailers, distributors, or strategic customer accounts
- Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze sales performance and identify opportunities
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field preferred
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Ability to work onsite in Scottsdale, AZ
Compensation
Base Salary: $90,000-$110,000 (DOE) + bonus opportunity + benefits
