About the role
The Senior Java Spring Boot Developer will support a client project in Austin, TX. This is a remote position.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, high-performance enterprise applications
- Lead technical initiatives and mentor team members
- Work within a defined software development life cycle (SDLC) process using an Agile-like approach
- Collaborate with multiple agency stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and efficacy of created reports
- Handle complex system architecture decisions
- Document and perform Dev/Unit Testing
- Participate in Agile development
Requirements
- Strong experience with Java / J2EE development
- Expertise in Spring Boot and Spring Framework
- Strong unit testing skills
- Experience with Texas Student Data System (TSDS)
- Experience with Nomad
Qualifications
Preferred knowledge includes:
- JIRA/Bitbucket
