Senior Java Engineer

About the role

The Senior Java Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance Java applications. This role requires a deep understanding of Java programming, RESTful services, ORM technologies, and SQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable Java applications using modern design patterns and best practices.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support business requirements.
• Work with database systems to ensure efficient data retrieval and storage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of the engineering process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with Java 8 or later.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful services and ORM technologies.
• Experience with SQL databases.
• Proficiency in version control systems such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
