Senior Java Engineer

About the role

A highly skilled Senior Java Engineer is needed to lead complex software development projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance Java applications. This position requires expertise in Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Docker.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and secure Java applications using modern design patterns and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and mentoring junior developers.
• Stay updated with the latest Java technologies and trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 8 years of professional experience as a Java developer.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Docker.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with NoSQL databases.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

• Java 11 or higher.
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Hands-on experience with testing frameworks like JUnit.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as React or Angular.

Pay

Salary range: $120,000 - $150,000 annually.

Schedule
